Working at the mall gave me an interesting perspective on humanity. Just dealing with hundreds on different ppl a week and observing thousands , I kinda get a chance to really interact and see people in bunches. Although I hate it of course It made stronger mentally, and helped me strengthen my one glaring weakness, which is interacting with people. Not only do I feel comfortable socially with anybody from any walk of life, but I can flat out see through them, read them like a book, watch all their guilt and insecurities pour out from a simple glance in the eye a little to long
i digress, anyway some of the observations about human behavior I've noticed
- most ppl are totally unaware of their environment, they walk str8 ahead like owls, ignoring everything around them. I'm not sure if this from narcissism, or because they want ppl to think they're important or is it from them thinking that people are watching and judging them and they're just paranoid
- alot of young black people like to put on a front that they're cool , in control, but anybody with enough life experience can see right through it. That cool front is being held by pins and needles, one situation of real adversity with totally blow it away.
- alot of white people are feel extremely guilty when dealing with black people and get very nervous and are very apologetic even if its the black person fault. Also they're overly pleasant, not because its the right thing to do but rather to manipulate their subject into some sort sense of ease
- a smile from a black person can make white people feel at ease. I'm assuming its a conformation you're one of the "good ones" u know, not the ones that they see on worldstar. Esp if your demeanor is confident and have an evenly level of emotion
- a smile and basic cliche pleasantries like "how are u doing?" can also manipulate most of the population, they'll drop their guard
- not a big surprise here, but alot of black men that date interracially hook up with bottom of the barrel white women
- most ppl lose focus if u stare in their eyes too long
- credit machines are apparently difficult to use, about 90% of the customers make mistakes
- most ppl dont read signs, even if they're right in their face
- most ppl are overweight, esp woman
- some black men think you'll hook them up because you're black...usually some dusty nikka
add some more after I go to this bullshyt dinner with my family that only call me when they need something
