I don't know about holding him back. But last year it was ridiculous that KD can score 27 in a closeout loss, while westbrook shot 7-21, yet KD gets blamed for "choking" and losing the series.

When I saw that I was saying fukk okc too, cause they obviously didn't know what they were talking about and they took Westbrook's side. So that's who they got to retain. Don't see what there is to be mad about when they made their decision.

Uh, in game 5 and 6 KD shot under 40% and a worse percentage than westbrook, but lets just pretend that shyt never happened, right?

Not a chance. He doesn't have KD's efficiency on offense or his ability to guard the opposing super star player on defense. Not to even mention that he is turnover prone. The difference in the Warriors winning the championship this year is KD. I find it hard to say that LeBron is still the "best player in the world" with the sort of defense he was playing all series long.

Game 6 loss
KD 10-31 29 points
Westbrook 10-27 28 points

Game 5 loss
KD 12-31 40 points
Westbrook 11-28 31 points

So KD shot better than Westbrook in ONE game....

Game 4 win
KD 8-24 26 points
Westbrook 12-27 36 points 11Rbds 11 assist

Game 1 win
KD 10-30 26 points
Westbrook 7-21 27 points

I think it's more about the style of play....them two goin ISO wasn't gonna cut it....OKC vs CLE last year definitely wouldn't have gone seven

OKC problem is they fukking team let harden go..

You can double team Westbrook and Durant because nobody has to guard Andre Roberson... Add Harden back to that team and they all shoot over 45% easy because they can move the ball around..

OKC had a better team than Golden State and ownership blew it up being cheap..

style of play is dictated by the personnel you have. you can't play a motion offense without shooters. thread is stupid give kd and westbrook klay and green they'd be 4-5 peating right now
