Uhh excuse me? Our oceans have absorbed 90% of the temperature increase caused by global warming. Due to the sheer size of our oceans it takes longer to heat up and does do more slowly but you can go look up ocean temperature readings over time and it has heated up dramatically since the industrial revolution. Warmer water means more powerful storms and it raises the sea level because warm water takes up more space than cold water. A degree or two may not seem like a big deal but it is. If the earth is warming the ocean is going to warm too, to say the ocean cannot he warmed because of humans is objectively wrong.

The number of overall hurricanes forming over the oceans have been trending down for over a decade

The ice caps ALSO go through periods of reducing in size and then increasing again in size, this is also on record
