Huh? Chad Johnson? There are probably 10 receivers ahead of him easy and 5 there’s about to retire.
:why:
Rank these five non hall of fame receivers:

Steve Smith
Reggie Wayne
Anquan Bolden
Andre Johnson
Julio Jones

Who has Chad above any of these players? Not including Tory H olt .

You let him in then what about Irving Fryer, Derrick Mason, and Jimmy Smith. They did it better while getting mugged off the line.
:skip:
The NFL is not the NBA. They not letting the Chris Webbers, Chris Boshs, and Tracey McGradys in.
:whoa:
No disrespect.
:heh:

We told y'all Shannon would talk about people the same way he got mad at Skip for doing to him. That's why I didn't care:yeshrug:

He wasn't disrespectful about it the way skip was...

And that wasn't even the topic that day on Undisputed, the topic was Brady and skip took it there about Shannon on some "fukk yo career" shyt outta nowhere

These two were actually talking about Ocho's career stats and the HOF.

Big difference

Not disrespectful like Skip but still disrespectful. We know they were talking about his career. And he did so without the proper respect for Chad’s game.

And as far as the Skip thing, he wasn’t shytting on Shannon’s career in general but compared to Brady’s career. “I did what I did. You make it sound like I was a bum. I’m in the hall of fame!” That’s shat Shannon said verbatim. Sounds a lot like what Chad was yelling at him and Shannon was like nah breh. Now I hate Brady and always have but Shannon’s career can’t stand next to Brady’s. It was a pointless aside but that didn’t mean it was false.

The point is, Chad had to speak to Shannon about his career like Shannon spoke to Skip about his. And he’s done that before to other players. If his big gay ass don’t have a problem

They talked about this years ago on undisputed. Shannon didn't think his stats were good enough then, nothings going to change his mind about it. It's not like Chad updated his resume

Ok when's the last time you've seen a sports show with a journalist and a former NBA player HOF analyst discussing MJ and out of nowhere the journalist says "MJ was way better than you"?.... it's never happened... because journalist dont cross that line intentionally taking personal shots on some "fukk yo career" shyt.. And it's dumb... Because who compares your average hall of fame NBA player to Jordan, and who compares your average hall of fame tight end to Tom Brady... disrespectful ass journalist skip Bayless that's who.

It's not like Shannon was trying to make the case that he should be considered on the level of Tom Brady or his career should be compared to Tom Brady. Skip (a guy who's never touched a football) brought that stupid comparison into the discussion with the intent to shyt on Shannon's football career.

That's totally different than what these two guys are (both former pro players) and were talking about (Chad's stats and potential qualifications)

"While all of these things reasons show he was clearly an iconic player, to get into the Hall of Fame you have to have the stats to back it up. Johnson had 766 receptions, 11,059 yards, and 67 touchdowns over his 11 season career. To put that into perspective, that’s more receptions and touchdowns than Michael Irvin, and more receptions and yards than Lance Alworth, Raymond Berry, Paul Warfield, and Charley Taylor. Johnson also has multiple other Hall of Fame inductees beaten at one stat or another."
Problem is that all those people played their entire careers under rules where defensive players could mug receivers.

Irvin put up numbers almost identical to Ocho Cinco in a run-heavy offense and he's splitting the pie with Harper, Novacek and K. Williams.

Chad will be compared to his peers who played in the same era. If he had just one SB ring, I think he'd get in.
