It sort of does, but why would the functionality be LIMITED to just that. This is the first time we see the integration. Obviously they needed to show SOMETHING. I'm also sure they wouldn't show everything BEFORE E3 na mean.

its pretty cool stuff. The camera they use is ball shapped and has lenses that record all around it, givng you 360 degrees of image. So when you view it in VR, it places you in the middle of the scene
There's talks of the nba using this for side line seats
so the point of this is..Windows 10 PC is rift friendly? and they give you a Xbox controller for your PC? but it doesnt need the XBOX ONE? lolol WTF IS THE CLOUD FOR THEN???? Xbox one loses again and on the other hand the PS4 VR SET WORKS WITH THE ACTUAL PS4... Microsoft partner deals suck

There are already movie apps for VR. I got this app on my phone that puts you in a movie theater while the movie plays on the screen, It's not mind blowing or anything and it may sound dumb but it's a cool concept and anybody questioning Oculus and VR in general are dummies.
lol... And the Project Morpheus is just as useless or even more... VR is meant for head end PC gaming, the PS4 like the Xbox One wont be able to handle VR due to not having the required SPECS. PS4(and the Xbox One) already is barely able to do 1080p with steady framerates. The only games you're going to get is games with lower res and crappy frame rates. The deal with MS is obviously NOT for the Xbox One. Anyone with an IQ above 70 knows that, its marketed towards Windows 10, which MS has been marketing as a gaming OS. So no its not dumb.
