Bottom line.. I always heard girls be. And heard it that way the 1st time I heard it when it debuted on Rap City with Joe Clair. And never thought it said otherwise.

Seeing RZA say it as also 'girls be' just further confirmed my ears.

RZA not only recorded the song in his studio...which would mean he heard multiple takes of the line... he also probably heard the rhyme acapella when Dirty kicked it to him before they constructed the track....anddd.. he has performed the song live probably countless times with ODB. I'm pretty sure he would have the most familiarity with the lyrics so I am just gonna go on a hunch here and believe that my 1st hearing of the lyric was correct and that RZA heard it direct from ODB's mouth on multiple occasions.

ODB is not here to clarify... so I am going to go with what I hear and ultimately what the executive producer of the album says it is, whether he is a snake or not.

We can start a whole new thread about Rapgenius and their ridiculously incorrect lyrics on a plethora of songs. OHHLA has it as "girls be".... so what youre saying is RZA and OHHLA are wrong but the lone Rapgenius site represents the correct lyrics 100%? What makes them right and RZA and OHHLA wrong? What if Rapgenius was wrong though?
