Odd Couple Tag Teams that Worked

What are some tag teams that you have seen that made you go...but when the formation actually worked.

For instance, I'm looking at some 94 ECW and friggin Cactus Jack is tag teaming with Mikey Whipwreck. I'm trying to figure out what in the all hell but once they started wrestling Public Enemy. Workrate, comedic moments, and all around brawling. Plus them promos with them too.

Honorable mentioning- The Power Trip (Damn Trips had to tear them quads to stop the greatest thing that could have happened to the sport of professional wrestling).

Might be wrong to some people but the APA. When they first hooked up it made no sense why they'd be together. Of course they're boys in real life so it worked but it was just odd. And of course they became one of the best teams in history

Nah I feel you. When I seen them formed up under the Ministry, I was like K. Once they started doing their own thing with the poker and the cigarette...it started to make sense

Yeah the acolyte stuff in the ministry didn't work for me but once they became the hired goons it was so on point.

Public Enemy though

May catch flack for this, but Billy & Chuck dudes were entertaining as shyt, and it was pretty cool watching their growth from randomly teaming, to starting to wear matching tights, new theme, bleached hair, ETC. They made that shyt work, but in classic WWE fashion after the backlash from the "wedding", they turned them into regular ass dude-bro Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo, were squashed by Ron Simmons and D-Von in that tag tourney, and that was the end of it

Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez back in the day were thrown together out of the blue and then beat the Rock n Roll Express to become NWA tag champs at a time when the tag division had the RnR Express, Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff, Midnight Express, 4 Horseman to just name a few of the teams running around in the NWA at the time.
Were supposed to have a pretty long run with the tag belts too until Rude found out how much NWA was lowballing him in his pay and decided to take the contract for more cash that WWF was offering.
