I see what you're talking about though. I think its dope that artist are starting to focus more on it. I do think Wayne played a big part in making it acceptable in the mainstream.

I'd say it's definitely more appealing. It's part of the reason someone like Chance is much more entertaining to me than Cole. His enthusiasm is laughable.

Delivery has become much more significant to me than lyrics.

It really adds to the songs, very appealing to the ear, Busta and Missy are the pioneers of doing this! Puffy does this very well as far as enthusiasm when adlibing his artist songs as well
