The way the funk rhythm guitar follows his rap rhythm's is fukking
had a similar idea great minds think alike brehs.

While I'm at it, I've been hesitant to classify Oddisee as a purely Hip-Hop artist.
As he's moved away from samples and become a more accomplished song writer he
doesn't take any issue with borrowing heavily from Funk,Soul and contemporary R&B (more
specifically Neo-Soul...).

Listened once and this is exactly how I felt. There is no reason for this dude to be rapping. He isn't bad but he isn't interesting either. His beats are far superior to his raps. A Black Milk situation through and through.

Cursing, N***a etc. aren't seen as necessary ingredients for a Hip-Hop song with
oddisee, same goes for Skyzoo they largely omit these words and still get across
what they're trying to get across.
