I watched a Let's Play of all the campaigns in the original not too long ago.

The graphics, music and storytelling were all A-1

Only thing that needed tweaking was the combat which was kinda repetitive. Glad to see the overhauled it for the remake

I remember this being one of the most gorgeous games on the PS2. The story was just as beautiful. It was really a playable piece of art. If they clean up the game play, this will be an instant classic.

Atlus is really doing what SqaureEnix used to do.
