You could go the lazy route and just re make it , but it would still be dope cuz of tech and obviously guessing what our future
Holds

or you could flip the script and really get into multi dimensions, newer theories and shyt

I’m blazed :yeshrug:
Nah. Back to the Future is special because of the performances amongst other things. The era, the score the soundtrack the production etc

It would be a massive fail with overload of cgi but they can try.

Maybe a Back to the Future hood version. Lol

do them making new movies destroy your old ones?
No, not at all. But if something is seen as nearly perfect, there is no need to “remake” it IMO. Think its Bob Gale who has it in writing (being the owner of the series) that it can not ever actually be remade, or a sequel can not be done.

The movie business is about making movies for profit. I don't see the harm in a remake. Give the new generation a chance to interpret the story. It may suck or it could be good but why deny them the opportunity?

I understand that 100% but, i know this seems odd but its almost too soon...ten plus years from now, I think it may be ok...maybe....but kids that were raised on the series have their kids now being raised on it. Since a portion of the story is still only 4 1/2 years ago. I guess i shoulda just said not now. Possibly eventually, but i still wouldnt be a big fan of it. Esp cause how many remakes do it correctly? Like 1%? Scarface worked because they changed the entire story plus the OG was done in the 30’s. The thing worked because when it was remade the monster movie era was well in the past and felt fresh. It would have to be done more as a reimagining versus a straight remake, IMO.
