BTTF doesn't need a remake/reboot. A time travel movie can be done by using the blueprint BTTF set. Just switch up the characters, story, etc.

doc is huuuuge part. The movie def stand out, story wise it’s not just a plug and play time travel movie

image Walter white , jack nicholson, or shyt even Johnny dep as doc

While I’m not fan of reboots, I can support this one. Well at least one movie where they go to the future. Part 2 was set in 2015 and obviously what they showed in the movie was no where close to where we are right now. Would like to see an updated movie with a new “future”. However I would rather they come out with an entirely new time travel movie, but Hollywood is lazy and will just do a soft reboot and make it Marty’s kids or something

thats the one show I’m slacking on. Haven’t even watched an episode.
Is it worth the hype

It's cool - They go waaaaaay overboard on some wild shyt. Weekly.

It's basically Back To The Future on acid - the characters are even named Rick and Morty after Doc and Marty

The movie business is about making movies for profit. I don't see the harm in a remake. Give the new generation a chance to interpret the story. It may suck or it could be good but why deny them the opportunity?
We live in the age of streaming and Amazon. Kids have all the opportunity in the world to watch the original movies. I also don't buy into the "tarnishing the legacy" argument, but sometimes you have to stop and ask yourself "why are we doing this"? If making money is the sole reason, I don't see it as a sufficient excuse artistically. Ask yourself, how many reboots/remakes have been able to resonate with a new generation on the same level as its predecessor? Scarface and what else?

we won't know and it will be up to the future generations with how they are impacted. And All those Disney live action remakes made tons of money.

We know what Scarface did. There have been tons of remakes and reboots that have had time to marinate and prove what, if any, impact they would have. Which ones have had impact? The Disney live action remakes are taking a story and retelling it in a completely different form. They benefit from both a new generation and the original generation tuning in. Despite all the bread they made, I very much doubt people will be looking back to them instead of the original animated versions. You don't have the same ability with Back to the Future, tho. It's already live action. What are you doing that's a significant enough change for it to resonate?

I think LeBron's Space Jam can be a successful reboot/remake, but that's because of the dude starring in it and the comparisons that have been made for years between him and Mike. A franchise like James Bond literally needs "reboots" as actors age. Indiana Jones is a series that needs a reboot. Back to the Future is fine as is. I'm just a hating :flabbynsick: ass nikka, doe.

I'm actually surprised that they haven't tried to reboot the series already. Seems like every classic from the 80s and 90s has been rebooted or Hollywood has tried to reboot.

they can't...not until the two creators are dead.
