I can easily see Kobe playing till he's 40 and in a year or two if the Lakers aren't contenders I could see them trading him or him requesting a trade again. I highly doubt that would happen but let's say they don't make the playoffs this season (which I still think they have decent chance to do if Kobe plays before February) and strike out on any major free agents next year which to is unlikely. I could see scenario like that with the Lakers and Kobe parting ways. But in reality I think he will retire in purple and gold.

You really trying to tell me in 2014 in some fantasy world if Kobe went to the Heat and his game was still on the level it was before he got hurt that he wouldn't start over Mario Chalmers alongside Wade. With Bron Wade and Kobe they would be more than fine with getting the ball up the court. Not like Chalmers is Chris Paul out there.

Having a high usage percentage isn't bad thing especially when you're an SG and the offense runs primarily through you. His TO rate was also a function of being the team's primary playmaker. You probably don't remember the Heat before LeBron, but Wade's TO rates were always sky high pre-2011.
You're using those stats incorrectly.
If Kobe was on the Heat, he'd be starting. Period.
He can still play defense, especially if Bron is going to carry most of the offensive load like he does for Wade.

Kobe had higher points, rebounds, and assists. Put Wade as first option and see what happens. He'd breakdown halfway through the season.
