Haha I remember when Johnny Herbert was his teammate back in the day. F1 go hard glad to see this thread this been a pretty good start to the season. Surprised Alonso doing so good the Ferrari team was looking heading into the season.

just goes to show the mental aspect of racing is everything..Hes had some reliability issues but when everything is fine hes still riding shotgun to roseberg which is a telling sign even in a good car he wouldnt be swaggin like before.

ps even tho the unpredictability has been great the actual "racing" this season has been .Its basically a battle of tire maintenance not best strategy/driver/fastest car.In saying that I will take it over the garbage we have had to endure the last 3 seasons..

And I am so glad button has come back down to earth after being gassed up with state of art cars for years.This is the scrub from BAR we all remember

I will say this - Hamilton will live and die by his pit performance.....both strategy and his pit crew not mucking up every other pit stop.

I think Lewis decision to race Maldonalo so hard at the end is gonna cost him another championship. What a race for Alonso though, wins at home track from 11th and sees his 2 closest rivals score no points.

I just cant believe the huge lead he suddenly has on the field.Its only that ferrari are pretty shytty these days so his skill will only take him so far..As for the race, yeah it had its moments seeing that podium at the end reminded me of the mid 00s..

What the hell was up with mclaren tho, they were off pace this wknd..Seeing that drag king grojean overtake lewis made my blood boil..
