the defense is Crazy good. I love the Hawks offense but man...they have out shot the Wings 40 to 17.
The Wings were playing great early but they still couldn't get any shots because of how good the Defensivemen were for the Hawks. It became apparent in the 2nd period which team was more talented.

Classic NHL, always want overcomplicate something. All to really had to do was move Columbus to the Southeast and have Winnipeg and Minnesota switch divisons. But, this was done for travel reasons, but the new playoff format is not needed tho.

Detroit has been demanding back into the Eastern Conference for years.
I'm not a fan of the 14/16 thing either. But there's not much they can do. Especially once Phoenix moves to (most likely) another eastern location. They could really use that team in Seattle to help balance.
