I remember that buttfugg nikka. Wasn't he on that last Chicago squad that won the cup, AND Y'ALL AIN'T GIVE HIM HIS MONEY???
I read all year how the Wings' defense was gonna keep them from even getting to the post season, saw highlights of it being total trash. Short season + no full preseason forces your team to come together late when you got all new parts. These teams that been together for a minute got into stride much earlier. Wings prolly just gelled at the right time.
