He had good reason (LaVine was 4th in minutes btw)

This UCLA squad has crappy talent. Alford can't keep recruiting like he's in UNM

I know you hate LaVine but f*ck that.. Alford sucks. I knew UCLA took ten steps back when they hired dude. They had a nice thing going with Ben Howland years ago up until the alumni and boosters wanted him to go after McDonald's All Americans instead of the local all star hard nosed players he would find like Darren Collison, Russel Westbrook, Aaron Afflalo, Lorenzo Mata, Mbah A Moute. Once he had to abandon those types he could coach and win with everything went South
