You know what is the major difference between Russell Wilson and Terrelle Pryor (amongst other things..)

The game is too fast for Pryor. However, the game is so slow for Wilson. Dude is just so calm.

Its what separates Wilson from the Vicks, Pryor's, Vince Youngs, even a Manziel (time will tell)

Wilson is just always under control. Kaep needs some of that as well.

Wilson is also not asked to do much.the second half of last season he was putting up meager stats and was game managing it was the d and running game that carried them

The game seems slow for Wilson because he was a better QB prospect. In college Wilson was just better at doing the QB minutiae and translating it into production. He was masterful and efficient in the college game too. He had fluid dropbacks and ideal mechanics. He had excellent field vision and decision-making. In addition he could scramble for yards and make plays out of nothing. Pocket presence was a little questionable--but less so than someone like Manziel. Russel was a first round QB in every way but height and that is the only reason he dropped. On the other hand, Pryor was never a first round type QB prospect in any way but physical measuables. From that standpoint his potential is greater than Wilson's -- but most QBs never reach their full potential if the gap between the mental and physical is too great.
