Jacque Vaughn has done nothing to prove he's an NBA head coach. His substitution patterns are ridiculous. Someone can be on fire for 3 straight games and he'll bench them for the rest of the month. fukk that dude.

I don't know what Orlando is doing. They're acting like the Bucks last year. Most of their roster looks like they're a few years of development/rebuilding away from winning. And yet they're spending money on vets that indicates they're in win now mode. Does this mean Tobias Harris moves to the bench?
The way this is going, I'd expect the Magic to sign an aging PG like Steve Blake to and pick Boozer up on waivers.

The Magic's whole thing is establishing a "culture." Really all they talk about. I think they're going with the strategy of trying to get some of these young guys in the habit of winning and competing.
Now, they did need some scoring/shooting, so I'm not mad at the fit. The length and money are a concern. And available minutes. Hopefully there's at least a team option in there at some point.
I liked the direction they were going in. They were building through the draft and they brought in a promising young stretch PF in Tobias Harris. Now they seem to be sorta halfway trying to give Vaughn a solid team that can compete...for the 8th seed? They're one more overpriced vet away from taking significant minutes from young players for the sake of shooting for the playoffs. Why trade Afflalo and then make these moves? I thought they'd try to add a few young players, a few cheap vets, and let them figure it out this year.
The Ben Gordon signing is like Gary Neal and Frye is like OJ Mayo. They're not ready to win, so whats the point?

Man, I hope Henny has some grand plan on some Littlefinger shyt, because if we have to fire dude in 2-3 years we're looking at another 3-4 years of rebuilding after his departure.
