the media here love him and even the racist french cokksuckers here love him. they cheer him loud at the games and he gets plenty of love here.

He definitely gets more love here than the rest of Canada, but some of these French dudes on RDS' antichambre still diss him for the stupidest of reasons and like to reach when he isn't on his game. Denis Gauthier and PJ Stock really went in on him when he held out for a new contract last year.

I don't think Babcock and the coaching staff are racist, they're job is to win and they'll give out ice time as they see fit. Weber, Keith, and Doughty getting more ice than PK is to be expected based on what they did last Olympics. The racism is mostly from narrow minded fans who's biggest fear is to see a flamboyant, assertive black player thrive in a mostly white sport. I was in the Austria-Canada pre game thread on hfboards checking out the starting lines and some Canadian "fans" over there were practically hoping for PK to make costly errors so they could feel vindicated about all their over the top criticism of PK's game. He had that one play where he almost gave up a scoring chance but recovered and blocked the shot, folks were all up in arms about how he almost gave a scoring chance in a 6-0 game but pretended not to notice the recovery and blocked shot. It's stuff like that that really annoys me, the way he's judged at a higher standard than other players and the way any mistake he makes is magnified.

These refs are terrible....smh @ falling for that dive by Callahan,he tried to give dude a DDT on his way down.

honestly, I don't care for most sports talk and I don't read alot of sports media.

I hate it all, for many, many reasons.

unless its "front page" type news I don't really bother myself with it, unless it involves teams that I follow.

so if you wanna post some links to some rants or videos that would be great.



if you guys wanna argue about what other ppl are talking about then feel free...I'm not gonna bother.

but if you guys wanna talk about the actual play, or the games then I'm down for that cuz thats all I care for.

I find there are alot of dudes on here that would rather talk about the media....that they supposedly hate, more than the actual games or athletes

denis gauthier should be the last dude to talk about anything :heh:

the funny thing is pk won that contract, habs could have got him probably for like 5 years 25 mill instead they did that bridge contract and now will have to shell out 8-9 mill
