that's a lot of platters in one hard drive with that type of rpm. wd owns hgst, but the hgst deskstar hard drives are arguably the best out there with the wd black close behind. whatever you do, don't settle for flabbgate.

For sure. My current 4tb is an HGST deskstar. I don't fukk with seagate.
