Upconverting tech is amazing right now, especially from Samsung and Sony. It makes 1080p tv and games look so much better. It's worth it for that alone. The colorsWhat's the point of owning a 4K right now? I've seen a lot of deals out there but the only thing that shows 4K is some Netflix programming. Is there any word on when it's actually going to take off? Also, not a good idea to buy first gen 4Ks
just make sure you get a 10-bit panel and HDMI 2.0 on all ports. I could never go back to 1080p now. You'll be very surprised at how much better X1, Wii U and PS4 games look upconverted to 4K. Even 720p tv shows look so much better upconverted.
Saved like $300 too
