The upcoverting is amazing, for real. 1080p games and even 720p tv shows look amazing. And the fukking colors
Get the 8500 or higher though, because of the 10-bit panel. The lower models only have 8-bit panels, and the colors aren't as good. if you look at a 10-bit panel side by side with an 8-bit panel, you'll be amazed at the difference (deeper black, much more vibrant colors, etc.). I recommend JS8500 and above (although automotion plus doesn't work well with PC connections, if you're streaming from your pc that may be a problem. If you got cable, then it's no problem at all).
I'm real picky, and I think Samsung 4Ks are the best. I returned two Sony 4Ks because of sound lag, and looked at other brands too. Samsung seems to be the best of the bunch.

I have no use for 4K. Need a nice deal on a tv 60" or better.
I ain a movie buff like that so the 6400 was perf for me. Rtings had it best oversll gsming tv for 2015
