They're both defensive liabilities.
Subban and Karlson are great players, but a lowkey hockey pet peeve of mine is everyone willing to overlook poor blueline play just because they score goals. Gimme a lock down defender over a scoring defenseman any day.
Both are young and will become better defenders, but they still have a lot of work to do

Hes the best defencemen imo in the league but not top 5 player
, I like the fact forward depth especially with a competent 4th line (
no more Glass). Defense still worries me with 
Girardi and Staal, hopefully Rangers made a move for a D-man to help transition the D into a younger core.
