I'm going to purchase the Xbox One S and transfer my current X1 to my son's room - Let him play that.

Have the Xbox 1 S sitting beautifully in the living room.

Then purchase that Scorpio next year with a trade in.

For games being developed now, not that much contact till shyt is about finished unless its a 1st party game.

It was probably too late to change the order, more hassle than its probably worth especially as things will have been rehearsed etc and things didnt happen in the exact order of that list. Most of it did though.

Yes, they know. The devs were just talking to sort of hype up the product. It's not like they had no idea a new console is in the works.

Not everyone has an Xbox already and aren't going to wait over a year for the Scorpio
Existing owners yeah I could see waiting, but some may just want a second console.
