What did he do? :lupe:

Explosive. Explosive. Explosive.

Alvin just got the burst all elite RBs got. His ability to break tackles is also underrated. If you give him a crease he can make a huge play.

And I haven't even mentioned his receiving and punt return ability.

All in all he's a pro bowl player starting game 1.

trubisky looking good

Let me take you back 3 years ago to about this date. A guy named Blake Bortles played in his first preseason game. He lit it up and had ESPN calling him the next one. We've now seen how his career turned out.

Trubisky is more like Blake Bortles than Dak Prescott. I wasn't impressed by his debut. He lacked the poise and calm I saw from Watson. He's still not gonna be good starting QB in the NFL.

Any Patriots rookies I should be keeping by eye on? Rivers, maybe?

Derek Barnett already has 2 sacks in his first taste of NFL action

What a stud

Versus 2nd and 3rd stringers. He's a player who tries hard. So he'll make plays against less talented players.

My concern is can he beat starting caliber OTs who have better physical tools?

With that said, I believe Barnett will be a solid pro like Charles Johnson (Panthers) but he won't be a star. He simply lacks the elite physical tools.

Rivers was one of my favorite players in this draft class. I believe I had him rated as the 3rd best pass rusher available after Myles Garrett and Charles Harris.

Rivers also looked good in the little bit I saw of the game against Jacksonville. He will be a real good player for yall.

A couple of these runs it looked like he could have bounced it outside

I wasn't high on Fournette going into the draft cause I questioned his vision and his ability to cutback runs if a new hole opens up.

Behind a great o-line like Dallas he would be a beast because of his combination of speed and power. But with Jacksonville I think he might struggle.

I'm not high on Fournette's prospects to be a great RB in the NFL.

I was impressed with Watson as a freshmen and sophomore. I thought he took a step back last year. Even in the national title game that everyone praises him for, it was his receivers like Mike Williams making ridiculous plays. And he also threw a ton of bad interceptions.

Watson looked better in my eyes yesterday than I saw from him last year in college as a junior.
lol what ya boy Dobbs gonna do though?
