Dobbs is getting cut unless Steelers keep 4 QBs. They aren't going to cut Mason Rudolph

They're not cutting the most talented QB on their roster unless they are retarded.

Landry Jones has no potential. And Mason Rudolph lacks Dobbs arm strength and athleticism.

If the Steelers foolishy cut Dobbs, there are gonna be 20 teams looking to sign him onto their active roster. That throw he made last night will get peoples attention.

That was an exhibition of big time ARM TALENT.

agree, thats not so much a knock on Dobbs but i really like Rudolph

Then you dont know anything about football. Rudolph is your run of the mill backup QB. He lacks the arm talent or mobility to be anything more than a Trent Edwards clone. A bad team might let him start for a few years but he's not gonna lead anyone to any wins.

If Steelers dont like Dobbs, they should have targeted someone else in the draft. Kyle Lauletta would have been a better option.

LOL.

Antonio Callaway will be the best WR in the NFL in 2-3 years. Fukk this he's a #2 mess.

He's already better than Jarvis Landry.

let him do something first. Landry is a volume receiver, but hes good at what he does

Callaway was a 1st round talent, if he stays right it was really good value

Talent is talent. You either have it or you don't. I don't need a regular season game to know Antonio Callaway is more talented than just about every WR in the NFL right now. I knew this dude was gonna be a NFL superstar in 2015 as a true freshmen at Florida.

Antonio Callaway is destined for the Hall of Fame as long as stays out of trouble with the law.

Come on breh. If they were high on Dobbs they wouldn't have used a 3rd round pick on Rudolph.

Come on breh. If they were high on Dobbs they wouldn't have used a 3rd round pick on Rudolph.

I don't know why people like act Rudolph was a 1st round pick and Dobbs was a 7th rounder? Steelers took him in the 3rd round after passing on him twice. If they thought he was a great prospect, they would have taken him much earlier. Likewise, Dobbs was a 4th rounder. The Steelers might value Rudolph slightly more given they drafted him a round earlier than Dobbs, but there really isn't much of a difference between taking a guy in the 3rd round and the 4th round. According to where the Steelers drafted them, both guys are DEVELOPMENTAL PROSPECTS.

The Steelers didn't draft Rudolph because they view Dobbs as some huge bust. The Steelers are just utilizing the Patriots strategy from a few years ago when it comes to drafting multiple QBs in the mid-rounds trying to find an heir from their aging Pro Bowl QB. Why put all your eggs in one basket when trying to find a young QB in the middle rounds? After taking Jimmy Garropolo in the 2nd round in 2014, the Patriots took Jacoby Brissett in the 3rd round in 2016. Did that mean the Patriots weren't high on Garropolo? Or were they simply trying to improve their odds of landing that replacement after Brady?

Mason Rudolph was a 3rd round pick. Josh Dobbs was a 4th round pick. Both players are 23 years old. This is not a situation where one guy is the 21 year old rookie who was taken in the 1st round and is the automatic heir while the other guy is a 26 year old who has had multiple years in the NFL and hasn't proven himself to be anything more than a backup. This is two mid-round picks trying to prove to a franchise who has had great QB play for over a decade that they can be heirs to the throne.

Stop trying to make it sound like Rudolph is a lock to take over after Roethlisberger. Him and Dobbs are in the same exact position. Let the best man win.

Who's starting for the Jets?

I would go with Bridgewater. He looked the most impressive last night. I've never been a huge fan of his while he was at Minnesota. He honestly looks better now than he did before the injury.

Teddy Bridgewater's NFL career might not be over like most feared.
