i thought it was a little weak relative to their full albums. theyre really good live, but Im a little disappointed that their first album is prob their best piece of work
New Tame Impala album was flames, IS flames
Tomorrow's Dust is my favorite track so far and subject to change, but I'm a sucker for bossa nova and the track took me down memory lane on that end. Kevin's music is truly evolving.

So that Tame Impala is pretty much as expected based on the singles
Great production with a MASSIVE step down in songwriting. There aren't more than a few memorable melodies anywhere on this record.
The production is great enough to carry it to an 8/10 on its own, but I'm not sure if he really even tried beyond that.
Still a really good album obviously hence the 8/10, but at the same time a big dissapointment. His 4th best album.
Production carries an album at release, but songwriting is what brings longevity. I can't fathom choosing to listen to this album in a year over Lonerism/Currents

Glass Animals dropped a new song today and I honestly am absolutely fukking in love with it. Such a return to form. I’m lowkey emotional as they’re my favorite band and I wasn’t a fan of that single with Denzel Curry but this is good stuff
