Thought:

Was turnout slightly disappointing because so many dems are gonna vote for whoever the nominee is anyway and dont care right now?

We'll see when more contests happen. Im not sure turnout in this primary is necessarily an indicator of turnout in this general election
Turnout in 2008 was 240,000

Turnout in 2016 was 170,000

I think people thought it'd be 200,000

It's a caucus, very tedious process. We'll see more on turnout with the New Hampshire primary.

You may be right. If the primary in Michigan was today :yeshrug: maybe I'd vote in it but I honestly care less about the results than I did in 2016.

But the general is a different story. I'd take the day off work for that if I had to.

Yeah i mean its possible and worth pondering

Personally id vote because my voting station is in walking distance and i have a very flexible schedule. But most people dont have that luxury
