no...correction, sure, but crash? nah. the average person who had to buy a house in the market of the past 5 years doesn't deserve to be financially ruined because the next wave of people hope to get a come up

I dont think a correction is in place anytime soon. I feel horrible for all the renters and market buyers atm.

I think the direction of this thread, might be a good place to centralize layoff for now. They just keep on tallying up. That's usually a leading indicator of a looming recession.

Massive lay offs left and right.

As many know by now. Meta kicked off this morning with 11k cuts to its work supply.

We're already in recession. Well at least after Q2-2022.

The gubment tried to be slick and change the definition. Just like they did with the words "pandemic" and "vaccine" in the past few years.

But the semantics don't matter. Jobs, inflation, interest rates, property values, and taxes matter.

What is a recession?​

The Oxford dictionary defines a recession as “a period of temporary economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced, generally identified by a fall in GDP in two successive quarters.”

sold all my stocks and went to all cash, i think the market's gonna crash with this budget deal fukkery. in the meantime, CIT bank's 4.7% interest is paying my mortgage :banderas:
