Give Betnijah her props. She was really the initial key piece. All-Star in 2021 (while Sabrina was still developing in her second season) and just a solid all-around contributor to the team on both offense and defense. I'm happy for her.




James Dolan needs to be put in prison. He treated the Liberty like garbage; they were playing in a local civic center back in 2018–19. Even though I don't care for the Nets, at least their owner (Joe Tsai) is treating them with actual care, and look at the results. They're back in the WNBA Finals after 21 years.

Laney the heart and soul of the teamonce she was passive in game 1 of the Sun series but after she got aggressive in game 2 . The team took off.

The more I think about it, it makes sense that Toronto (at least for now) isn't getting a WNBA team.

The WNBA has to sort out some things first. Firstly, charter flights, because right now the W doesn't allow teams to charter flights. Teams traveling to Toronto would have to deal with going through customs. This wouldn't be a problem for American players, but it would be for many foreign players (like Chinese players).

Also, the WNBA has basically poverty salaries, so trying to live in expensive Toronto on a WNBA salary would be very difficult lol.
