Career altering injury for a guy like Branch :francis:

Looks like we saving money on Branch and Laporta atleast

He was able to put weight on it so maybe it's not a full tear. We'll see...fukk.
:mjcry:

That's def career altering for a guy who technically is not super athletic. He fell to us in the draft in large part because of his combine numbers.

Also makes us trading those 3rd round picks instead of just getting Malachi Moore look even worse....

Didn’t look like a typical achillies injury in replay. When he had to get carter off you knew it was bad.

Amount of injuries this team gets is insane. They need a new training staff, get rid of the turf, and maybe Campbell needs to back off intensity at practices or something.

What do bone breaks and getting your leg rolled on have to do with training staff doctors or practice though. You could run that play 100 times and get that specific outcome 1-2 times. Same when Hutch broke his leg, that play happens every game without incident.

Chiefs practice harder than us and don't have as many injuries. Niners practice about as hard and have more injuries. It's football. All you can do is avoid drafting or signing guys who are injury prone, which is something Holmes needs to implement. But Branch, Hutch, Terrion, Reed, Barnes...most of the guys injured over the last 1.5 seasons were not injury prone.
