Just sayin…

You can make an argument that Sweat next to Alim and Hutch would increase his production but the flip side is effort. He looks like a guy who got paid and is content to be just a guy who does enough to hit certain numbers/stats. And it’s not like that Bears defense lacks talent around him.

To me it’s example of why selling the farm rarely works. Especially at a position where a lot of guys can play Robin to an elite pass rusher.

Sweat's been playing through an ankle/shin injury much of the season. Those other guys listed all went to well coached teams while Sweat is with the Bears. I'd be willing to give a pass to just about anybody on their roster like I would the Jets this year.

To me, this is even more reason to be extremely aggressive this offseason and throw caution to the wind.

2025 is the last year on Kerby Joseph's deal and Jamo's; Anzalone is also a free agent after next season. Cap numbers for Sewell and St. Brown go way up in 2026.

Despite everything, if the offense got hot right away and didn't take 2 drives to get going, we win this game. We still have a shot this yr
