Ironically the play, while a bad call, was open. Protection didn’t last. It’s insane we didn’t adjust to this until it was too late.

Your starting C giving up 3 sacks is ridiculous. Maybe get Ratledge some reps there if he’s the future at Center

Exploiting Gibbs in run blocking was good coaching from Flores.

Even the broadcast was goin in on him. They played at least two slomo shots of the dude going right through Gibbs for the pressure. One of them they even showed how poor Gibbs was doing by trying to just throw his shoulder into the block and the defender just running right through it to get the sack :dead:

Yea Gibbs had a bad game in pass pro but you cannot discuss this without discussing the god awful coaching on display. Move your RBs up, get your TEs in motion to be prepared to block....so much shyt could have diffused that shyt. And we didn't do jack shyt about it until the late third quarter.

Buncha teams making trades and Brad sitting on his hands like usual. :unimpressed:

He's made trades in the last two deadlines. Including making the trade we all wanted last season.

Jets taking that Stafford trade blueprint and going all out. Love to see it, good luck to AG and them.

I will say this though. I'm starting to wonder about front office/coaching tension. You don't trade two 3rd round picks on a receiver for him to just play special teams and virtually get no targets on offense. I don't think that's a Campbell decision but it's the consequence of an OC who can't seem to pace an offense. This offense took off the minute we signed Josh Reynolds as a big body X receiver who could run 8-15 yard dig routes for Goff. Then last year it was Tim Patrick. We essentially don't have an WR3 right now. Either because they have to block because protection isn't great, or because Morton has two buttons on his controller (Spam St Brown, Spam Gibbs). Clearly the bye week didn't resolve any of this either. I heard Campbell say today that he wants to get TeSlaa more involved but how the fukk are you saying that again this late in the season after the guy has 3 amazing receptions (2 TDs). What are we doing man.

Fall short in January again I don’t want to hear shyt about injuries. Holmes is so fast and loose with picks that he took a WR in round 3 that takes two snaps a game and a special teams gunner in round 4 last year but picks are too important to trade them now for help mid season. Pick one

He traded for DPJ in 2023. :pjlol:

Kash Doll was basically free last year. We want to see a legit all-in trade that costs real assets.

No trades. I thought we should have gotten an edge for additional bodies. There's really no depth behind Muhammad, who had a minor hamstring injury recently. Davenport will be back soon but is unreliable, same thing with Paschal. The rookie Hassanein is returning to the team this week or next week but you can't really rely on a late round rookie to make plays off an injury. I wanted Dre'Mont Jones, who got traded to the Ravens for a 5th.

I don't think the Lions needed to make a move on the o-line. I've felt like Colon should be the starting center, and Glasgow the LG. Colon played well at center last year in Arizona and is younger. Anything that gets Glasgow out of the middle is fine with me.

Moving Glasgow back to guard isn’t a bad idea right now. If he continues to struggle maybe Frazier will be ready soon

Mahogany missed training camp last year and still managed to come in (late in the season) and ball. Hoping the same for Frazier. Don't think it's a coincidence that all the LSU o-linemen rookies have played well this season, Frazier should be the same. I'm very curious to see if he can play tackle but I'd imagine the focus will be guard first.

Just one example but I’ve definitely felt like the routes are oddly long no matter the circumstance. Goff is elite against blitzes because our offense used to consistently get the ball out quick for YAC plays, or a dig route. This has to be fixed. O-line deserves some blame but this is scheme….

No excuse not to win this game. In some ways it's like an inverse of the playoff game where Washington is the squad facing catastrophic injuries this time.

Vikings lost. Bears pulled off another great comeback. Packers prob lose tomorrow night. Lets get this done.
