I'm with you- not happy about this news. Don't understand why CDC wants this guy so much.
Me either it honestly pisses me off lmao
Hell yes!
He’s so good.
I’ll rather have slower pace with a competent offensive and great defense. Also everything I’ve read about him he seems like a great player developing coach especially at point guard and good at turning guys into good shooters. For me I’ll rather have an outside the box hire. I mean while it is true we would be different from other sec teams it did work for buzz
With the way college basketball is today with the transfer portal, identifying talent and understanding how players fit together are a priority. I think his experience on the Div 2 level helped develop this part of his coaching. Lower levels of college ball have been dealing with transfers for decades.

With the NIL that Texas provides, I think he would have got the players he needed.
I agree plus I mean we get talent just haven’t had a good coach to develop. I mean koa peat might still come here and we don’t even have a coach lmao. Plus like I said earlier I like that he develops guys the last couple coaches we had didn’t really do that

curry woulda been the perfect duke player lol
And Curry was there during the dark days of Duke, when Roy owned the ACC, and the best coach k could get was Greg Paulus and Josh Mcroberts. There really wasn't much of an excuse for Duke not to recruit him. I think Coach K had his head up his ass. That 2010 championship and 08 Olympics helped revitalize recruiting.

Was wondering why the schedule looked like this, Then I realized CBS snatched up the marquee draws and threw TBS the bums :russ:

How many teams face a two time defending champions in the second round though?
That performance was on Florida, not UConn. I didn't think UConn did anything special. Florida's post was exposed and they relied on Clayton. When Clayton is off and it is close, I expect them to lose.
