I’m not gonna shyt on Scheyer per se, but he got out coached in those losses. The two early ones where they drew up like these dusty face ups for Flagg when everyone already knew he didn’t trust his handle at that time. That shyt was garbo

I don’t know if we know how elite a situational coach he is. He’s definitely good overall, but that specific niche still remains to be seen

My comp for Flagg is Kawhi. Kawhi averaged 12 a game and shot 20% from 3 as a freshman. He’s now a career 39% and automatic middy

Flagg’s shooting splits 48/37/83 are that of a future 3pt specialist. He’s got that on a 6’9 powerful athlete frame. He’s gonna be just fine

both teams that were leading at half today choked but the duke choke job is one for the ages, another duke failure just too bad coach k wasn't coaching on the sidelines.

Flagg can’t create space

I heard Scheyer specifically built the roster to not have a PG and let Flagg grow as the offensive hub. I don’t think you can do that with a guy who can’t initiate

At least a couple losses of theirs would’ve gone a different way if a league avg PG just had Flagg come set a screen and Flagg can manipulate the defense as a roller, not as a creator
