The Brunson effect will wear thin in the next couple years if he doesn’t become more of a playmaker.

That 3 he took before the Mikal 3 was a stupid shot. You don’t have to be in hero mode 24/7.

Transition and perimeter defense has been horrendous all season. I don’t get how he and Josh Hart ended up leaving Schroder open like that.

Brunson found Mikal wide open a few times late and made the game-tying dime to Josh Hart for an open dunk. I don't think this is the game to blame Bruson's hero-ball on. He tried to beat double-teams with passing and his supporting cast was a flop.

we scored 94 fukking points
defense was the last of our issues
this uncreative dog shyt ass offense with a 6'4 guard who cant shoot getting guarded by centers the last 3 months so you get the other 4 starters dribbling into traffic the entire game is why we lost
being so serious mitch playing 18 minutes compared to josh 40 is why we lost
shyt turned into an iso fest with people ignoring the best 3pt shooter on the team lol
at least with mitch you actually have to have a 7 footer pay attention to him on the glass especially while the pistons play large chunks of the game with a non spacing guard/wing in ausar and ron holland.

Hart is my favorite Knick because he brings those intangibles to the team, but Thibs infatuation with him when he's not shooting well (playing 35+ mins with a center on him) is gonna be our undoing this series. This was a game where we could've grinded Detroit down with defense like last season to win, meaning we should've seen a lineup in the 4th of Brunson/Deuce/OG/KAT/Mitch. That's more than enough offense/shooting where they would've been worried about open shots & not mention they sure as hell would've been preoccupied with Mitch on the boards

I understand why JB took that 3 because he's confident, clutch, & knows he could hit that shot sleeping, but it wasn't needed at that moment. He swung for the home run when all we needed was a bucket plus he was getting calls at the end which could've resulted in a 3pt play. Bridges & especially Thibs really need to be held to the fire. Also, KAT getting frozen out in the 4th is unacceptable & definitely a COACHING issue where he needs to be in JB's ear to get him to move the ball & feed KAT in the post & stop playing letting JB play iso ball so much. It was part of our complaints when Randle was here where the ball stopped all the damn time

This is a Thomas J. Thibodeau issue.
he hasnt known how to create synergistic lineups around 2 all nba offensive players that (on paper) should work.
he values lineups with josh hart which throws a monkey wrench in theoretical lineups cause for that pick and roll to even function between kat and brunson you have to be a semblance of an offensive threat. Thibs knows teams wont honor josh EVER so he thinks instead of benching josh he puts him in every action cause its our only hope to have productive offense when hes on the court. We use kat as a big ass decoy instead of a fukking option.
Problem with this is, if you show teams the same josh screening action they'll eventually stop it which then breaks down into brunson taking 30 fukking shots and us living and dying with whether or not he's cooking
it's a dog shyt offensive process, with a lineup that hasnt worked for 82 games vs GOOD TEAMS cause thibs doesnt have the creativity or the balls to use josh correctly or sit his ass on the bench.
this whole shyt is exactly what happened when we started josh bum ass vs miami. if you squinted really hard last night you would see no discernible difference between rj and grimes hiding in the corners, josh being ignored and randle playing space cadet ball. we've played the same bullshyt way in the playoffs the last 3 years and just cause josh decided to shoot 80 percent vs the sixers from 3 for 3 games it means its sustainable basketball in his eyes
Not sure the point of giving mitch 30 minutes at end of the year to never extend his minutes. we only had extended double big lineups cause josh dumbass got in foul trouble.
