Still no mention of how incredibly well conditioned this Knicks team is huh?
Tatum was fukking exhausted before the injury. So was Jrue. If we win the chip, that should be the first thing out of Thibs mouth.

Funny enough, even our slow, drudging offense being so difficult gives us an advantage late in games. When it’s gut check time and you have to will a basket, other teams struggle while we’ve been doing that shyt all season.

Yeah the same reason the Celtic couldn’t hit the open threes late in game 1 & 2 was exhaustion and it threw their shot off. Their legs wasn’t in their shots. It’s likely the same reason Tatum got injured was he was tired and his body over compensated and that led to a injury.

The Knicks are doing this counter intuitive thing this series where they play faster on both sides of the game. They didn’t do that the third game, and I still think that was to give themselves a chance to rest, cause it was a team wide thing.

Looking at Game 5. I’d like to see us let Jalen Brown go off and focus on smothering Pritchard and White. Brown isn’t nearly the playmaker Tatum was. Letting him exhaust himself out, driving to the paint all game to prove a point plays right into our hands.

Thibs is unconventional that way. Wouldn’t be surprised at all. It’s the same way he allows teams to do something all game and waits until the end of the game to throw the adjustment at you when your lulled to sleep.

I don’t know what the Celtics do in game 5. A lot of them are about to be free agents. Tatum might be out for this series. I could see them not doing to much. At a certain point you got to stop.
