We’re not losing because of offense tho.

The defense is the much bigger problem. We need to get stops—a track meet with the Pacers is in their favor.

You do realize that ball players play defense more enthusiastically when given opportunities on the offensive end, it also gives a chance to Towns and Brunson to catch breathers on the floor
also some offensive sets let players better positioned to get back on defense instead of being flat on the baseline watching someone dribble the air out the ball.

Its like he is overthinking trying to outsmart the other coach
or just too damn stubborn. I get it they are putting big men on Josh Hart due to his non shooting and he is trying to get Brunson that switch. Kat is a matchup knighmare I guess the coach is afraid of Turnovers once the double team comes to Towns. Which is the other towns cooks so much he commands doubles and someone will be wide open. But noooo run the Josh Hart/Brunson pick and roll.

Nah. Defense isn’t that good. They play well in spurts, but are easily exposed.

The Knick defense has definitely been underwhelming. Pacers set one or two screens, make two or three passes and get a high percentage shot. Meanwhile Knicks have to work very hard for their points.

Offense runs well through KAT too cause he actually will make the right plays. He’s not perfect but players are more involved when he has the rock. Brunson should be used more as a break in case of emergency in my opinion.

No excuses he is getting outmatched by the same coach 2 seasons in a row this time with a healthy roster with more fire power (2 all NBA players) he has failed to implement a varied offense only has done so in other series when guys get in foul trouble, proving that he has to be forced to make the right moves, the one positive of losing its him getting the outta here.
