If you overrate the Knicks and underestimate the opponent which is what Knicks fans have done all series, sure.

I already knew they wouldn't close this game. We're not winning three straight against these Pistons. No energy, intensity nor sense of urgency from the very beginning on our part. We mostly only win because we have more talent than the other team, NOT because we play better or harder.

They’re not that inexperienced they have plenty of vets (Dennis, Tobias, Beasley, Hardaway, Reed).

They’ve outplayed us largely we’ve won because of their inexperience (down the stretch errors by Ausar, Duren, and Cade).

As always coaches don’t play, players do.

Dennis cooked us and has been playing full court jersey to jersey defense all series

Tobias was locking up KAT straight up battling with a black eye…he had 17/8/2 with 4 blocks

No one is saying KAT is Jokic, but KAT offensively can do things Jokic does and those set plays will help. No one is saying he has to pass out, but he can shoot the damn ball. The plays they have to pass Jokic the ball to shoot…. We don’t do that. KAT can also work as a distributor from posting out.

Anyhow I have more belief Malone can alter his sets for Brunson and KAT than Thibs will stop running iso Brunson and stop trying to have KAT play like Randle.
