Brunson doing Brunson things, salute to that man :salute:

But damn OG is playing well on both ends. Causing havoc on defense then will come down and hit a 3 in your face, or take you straight to the rack. Sun keeps the same look on his face too and doesn't even get tired lol

OG might have taken over the #2 spot from KAT in the hierarchy.

Felt more juice in that second half than I did the entire Detroit series :whew:

As disappointing/apathetic as it felt being in that dog fight, that series probably made tonight's comeback possible. Battle tested and war ready, they didn't flinch.

Facts.

Ngl my heart sank when BrunGod missed that lay-up, we just had to win this game given the circumstances. Showed a whole lot of grit this time.

GO NY GO NY GO :banderas:

He's still playing hurt. Knicks need to hunt him
Yep KP might be out of it too. This is why I was saying we needed to catch them early, they didn’t need more time to heal than what they got and I guess the extra time wasn’t enough. KP did not look playoff ready. Down the stretch Jrue and Horford looked tired too.

Also before he got in foul trouble KAT was killing them. They was shaq walking Mitch but that just made things worst for their bigs and I wonder if it try it again because in the long run those fouls added up.
The offense is the offense, whatever.
Thibs drew up a hell of a defensive game plan, switch more than we ever have all year and make their elite catch and shoot players take off the dribble 3s. They only got 60 3s up cause they got so many offensive boards. It’s a sound strategy but we gotta clean up on the boards. All their best looks were off the rebound.
Thibs was saying that. I hate on Thibs cause he deserves it but the game plan worked. He did get in into the roster and ran 9 guys out there as he should. Those spot minutes helped. Also we definitely have an advantage at bigs and PG and our wing defense and Pritchard counter in Mcbride helped.

We got to win 3 more games, but winning game 1 like this is a statement, they wanted to make their own running it up in the third and finally the team responded by just grinding and staying physical.

fukking Haliburton is going to injury walk to another ECF. I want to beat Boston just so we can humble his bytch ass.
To be fair, they were gonna win in 5 regardless against the bucks. And i had them beating the cavs healthy or not.

Yes we hate hali and the pacers. But they are one of the better teams

Yeah, the Pacers beat up on the Cavs in the regular season too. They're just really well-constructed to beat the Cavs. They can match Cleveland's two-big sets with Siakim/Turner or keep pace when Atkinson staggers the bigs (which is most of the time) by switching Obi in.

Not that any of that matters when Mobley, Garland, and Hunter are all injured. Whoever's conjuring the spirits to help Indiana must be stopped.

Pacers have been playing really good ball for months now. Their rotation is 10 deep, Carlisle is a good coach... they're dangerous

Objectively speaking with no bias. I had them as the 3rd best team coming Into the playoffs. Only behind the Celtics and OKC

Haliburton is the king of front runners though. If we meet them in the playoffs, we'll see how he operates under them bright lights again but this time healthy possibly

All I know is, these Boston clowns are gonna come out fired up because of ALL the heat & criticism from damn near everywhere because of how they played. I fully expect them to attack the paint more & look to get KAT & JB in foul trouble, maybe even foul hunting. We're going to have to match that intensity & not be satisfied with taking game one & fold in this game if it gets tough early. I'm hoping Thibs has a few tricks up his sleave he hasn't shown to counter some of these adjustments we know are coming

One more thing I wanted to say is that hack a Mitch style of ball is some bytch shyt for real & teams should be penalized for employing those tactics
