One Of The Last Real Ones To Do It
I think the Knicks gambled that the Celtics roleplayers wouldnt step up because game 3 was house money and the defense they played the first two games is exhausting.
I think the combination of the use drop coverage (first time in the series), Pritchard going off, and Horford staying out of the paint to shoot 3’s to them make Tatum get rebounds was the main difference in game 3.
I think the Knicks played the first 2 games more physical and faster on on both sides and the only time I saw them Knicks get physical or play fast like they had been in game 1 & 2 was when KP fouled KAT twice with no call so KAT did the same play but dared the refs to no blow their whistle on the third drive and sent KP flying.
Game three is going to have to be the Knicks daring the refs to not blow their whistles and playing more. Also a decent adjustment would be to screen more to like Brunson, OG, Bridges to certain guys on the Celtic like Horford. Horford isn’t as young as he use to be.
Hart has to score. In fame 2 he took those open shot’s game 3 he passed them up. It’s sucks but if Hart can score when open the Knicks are deadlier and it makes it easier for everyone else.
They also need to commit to Mitch. If the Celtic players are in foul trouble shyt it going better for everyone.

The annoying part is he was never a starter until injuries forced it. This isn't even something that hart probably cares about

The way Thibs is coaching, somebody needs to check his BetMGM account. Yes, I know I apologized for all my Thibs slander, but that was for past comments and this ain't slander.
Mitch maximizes the team's defense, Deuce presents the best option for team offense. Nothing against Hart, and I know he was the leading scorer in game 2, but Hart ain't a playoff starter

Honestly they got to switch it up, KAT to work to score more and they need to bigs to help Brunson get his mismatches.
It makes sense as an adjustment to get 3. The Celtics got the mismatches they wanted and the Knicks didnt. Also hart and Pritchard off the bench, could be a bit of a mismatch. Celtics running KP and Pritchard off the bench and I don’t think KP got 30+ minutes a game in him.
