What the hell happened between Game 2 and Game 4? They were a different team. I was having an argument with friends like "The Knicks aren;t suddenly going to learn to run plays". I watched them in the regular season and Detroit series and they kept doing Brunson iso, then kick out to perimeter for a 3 or some other haphazard play where they might get lucky.

All of the sudden Game 4, they were doing all the things: Pick and rolls, screens, double screens, reverse screens, actual plays. Where did this all come from and why didn't we see it earlier? So weird. With that said, if they can play like they did in Game 4: utlizing screens, big man mismatches, offensive rebounds, slowing down the game, taking only high percentage shots (fukk the 3 ball unless you're WIDE open), I think we have a real real shot at the chip.

Idk… like either Thibs been playing Rope a dope all season and they been working on stuff they knew they wasn’t going to do in the regular season or the BBIQ on the 7 man roster is so high Thibs can just add to the playbook between games.

It can only be either or a mix of both.

The game plan gotta be to let Brown get his and shut all role players 3 down. Let brown get his 35+ with mid ranges and inside the paint. But we cannot let white, pritch get hot from the 3.

Jrue has been absolutely horrendous, so im not worried about him, kp either. Horford been inconsistent. Just keep pritch snd white in check from the 3

I’d personally put KAT on Brown just to bait him into ball hogging. I’d start Duece cause he’s the only one we have that can stay in front of Pritchard. Jalen on Jrue, Mikal on White and OG on Horford/playing free safety.

shyt like this is why its hard giving thibs credit. Was everything we did last game a fukking fluke?
Josh had like 7 or 8 breakdowns himself giving up 3s. Luke kornet had 6 fukking blocks in one quarter cause he’s playing free safety off Josh and you know what we do, leave that lineup in the game for 10 straight minutes with no change. Just Brunson iso into help defense over and over.
Og had the worst game I’ve seen him have on both ends as a Knick period.
Thibs got the best seats in the house and can’t identify the fact that Josh making 5 3s is a win for the Celtics.
Refs were atrocious but we lost that game in multiple controllable areas. Celtics weren’t gonna go out on home court like that but Jesus we look so unprepared. Same breakdowns over and over. Same confusion on switches, like the Celtics play the same way every game. Game was over with 6 minutes to go and pulling the plug shouldn’t take this long.
