Brunson needs to be more of a facilitator and not force shots.

Don't dribble the ball for 20 seconds and throw up a brick or get trapped into a double team by Indiana.
And KAT should be demanding the ball more.

I said this before but Randle and RJ had better chemistry with Brunson cause they demanded the ball!

Yeah it was a my turn/your turn offense, but it also made the offense go quicker when he passed either of them the ball to go down hill towards the basket and attack the rim.

Just to put this into perspective RJ averaged 19/5/3 per game his last playoffs with us (where he was the third option but put up second option stats cause Randle stunk it up) and KAT is now averaging 21/11/1. KAT is clearly the more talented player and should be scoring more based on talent and ability. The only difference is RJ demanded the ball and KAT will take what is given to him.

Basically if Brunson should be doing less, KAT should be doing more to compensate.

Either threaten Thibs with forcing him to watch clips of opposing team offensive rebounds on an endless loop unless he plays Kolek next year

Or throw the taxpayer MLE at Tyus Jones this summer

I'm good on offering what few assets we have for a cripple
I don’t see Tyus taking less anymore, he sounded mad about taking less money and not starting on Phoenix

Mikal has never been a dunker he is physically skinny and not able to use his body to force guys out of his way. It’s why he developed that midrange game that he and Brunson was killing the Celtics with.
He doesn’t have to dunk on anyone. A lot of guys are skinny and have no problem dunking btw. We’ve seen skinny guys be foul magnets. He has it in him to do it as we’ve seen it on occasion.

He passes up reverse lay ups and is scared of contact.

Cause he is skinny. The only time I seen him dunk was against CADE with a full head of steak and CADE was to the side of him.

He’s not a dunker/layup through contact player. It’s likely why he developed a midrange.

Mikal avoiding contact at the rim is like such a nitpicky thing considering everything else going on right now.

:yeshrug:
Lol no that guy has some serious plot armor

5 picks for 12 PER in the playoffs :mjlol:

Brunson, Thibs, and Hart are public enemies after losses while this guy consistently skates.

Apparently Brunson has to do more to get this guy going. :camby:

That sounds good, but that paycut he took wasn't by choice. And he was coming off a more productive year at that.

We'll see what the market dictates
Yes it was he had a way bigger offer from the Pistons. He just knew he wasn’t going to start over Cade Cunningham. Similar situation here, he’s not starting over Brunson
