Team don’t need “dogs” it needs good fukking players.

Ayton ain’t coming here anyway he’s going to be looking for way more bread than we have to give.
I’m assuming he’s going to LA. I’d take him on a prove it minimum deal but he’d be coming off the bench IMO. Doubt that’s what he’s interested in, but aside from Brooklyn, he’s either taking a mid level or tax mid level cause that’s all that’s available.

My dumbass thought free agency was at midnight last night…
Negotiations are set to start tonight, so we can expect to hear about agreements soon. I'm just trying to keep tabs on realistic FA's and guys I'd be thrilled to get but are unlikely.

Boucher, Brogdon, Kennard, and CP3 are the names I'm watching. Plus, I'm not a big fan of his fit, but Bruce Brown is available again and this FO has tried to get him a couple of times. I think a ball-handler and a swing big man are the biggest needs.

Then finish with a Seth Curry or Shamet on a vet's minimum deal.

This team needs more dogs not less of them.

How about both? We need dogs and better players.

Their is a reason teams thought the Knicks was soft going into the playoffs, and we need better talent because lowkey out bench is weak as fukk. We haven’t drafted a legit roleplayer since 2021.

Lowkey the FO got so focused on getting big name players the team has barely any assets

Man, I would LOVE Chris Paul as a backup. Plus you could play him alongside Brunson.

Dudes are going to say anything to get an edge and fukk with the opposing team. This wasn’t a soft team, we were a fighting team who played well from behind. If by “soft” you mean our defense wasn’t that good then sure that’s more of a skill issue to me. As far as I see it most people would break down if they lost several family members to COVID like KAT did who still played through it and Brunson is hands down one of the mentally toughest players in the league.

Who the fukk made Malik Beasley clown ass the arbiter of toughness?

Most NBA fans labeled OKC soft, corny, p*ssy, free throw merchants, hacks, beat injured teams. Still the champions.

In practice labels like “dogs”, “tough”, “soft” are nothing but cliches that mean very little. New Yorkers thinking themselves as “tough guys” or “blue collar” and always living in the lore of the 90’s Knicks throw this nonsense label around to make themselves feel better or some shyt.

The team needs a talent infusion on the bench to scoff at Ayton is hilarious.
