The entire league does not have Mitch's health profile. I've said many times that if the Knicks are relying on him to be healthy for their title hopes they're in for a rude awakening. He played 35 games total last year FYI
I get what you’re saying but they don’t need Mitch during the regular season. He was healthy when it mattered the most.

(Bucks just signed Myles Turner and I have no idea how that works for the cap…)

So you're just gonna put the guy on ice till March every year and hope for the best? That's crazy team building. Their best bet is to sell high on the guy while they can. He's also gonna want a big pay bump soon

That sounds nice in theory but now apply it in practice. Who can you realistically get, as impactful as Mitch for his contract? We’re also at the 2nd apron now so we can’t combine salary. It’s gotta be a 1 for 1.

That's my point - hope isn't a strategy. Plan A can't be - well let's hope Mitch is healthy and effective by the time the playoffs roll around and see how far we get.

Again, that’s everyone’s hope. Essentially giving him away is silly. There’s no guarantees anyone can be healthy. It’s not like there’s a healthy player out there that we’re choosing Mitch over.

(Holy shyt the Bucks waived and stretched Dame)

Not surprised. He looked washed there before the Achilles thing

No, but play him spot mins here & there. Don’t have to play him on back to backs
