What other floor stretchers though? Cause OG/Mikal are going in any KAT/Giannis deal.

And on top of that, he's a huge liability on the FT (hasn’t shot over 70% the past 3 seasons) line. Having him & Mitch clank it up in crunch time though :damn:
I doubt there would be a trade but if there’s a real possibility of Giannis you trade whatever the cost to get that man.

Most likely you will be left with Brunson, OG, Giannis and Jordan Clarkson.

Work with those four and tell Mike Brown

We got a nice team. I get why people are worried, but this team has championship level talent and while Thibs has a oversized shadow on this team due to how long he was here. Mike Brown has a better recorded in just about every way imaginable. Also his style is way more playoff friendly, Thibs would be trying to out coach opposing teams coaching staffs cause he micromanaged everything.

some Knicks fans think Donte's destined to return to y'all to make up for the spacing.

Or maybe some of us can recognize Giannis is a better player, and if it doesn't gut the squad it's probably in our best interest to sell high on KAT before the bone in his knee starts Dutty Wine'ing on top the other one

Figure spacing out later

Man look,

would I deal KAT for Giannis?

Yes. And don't look back, only for this reason: I don't think Brunson can win the chip as the best player on the team. He can be the captain, the #2, the guy with the rock at the end of the game, but Brunson and KAT's shortcomings are fatal, and it's something Giannis excels at.

Now, does Milwaukee do this knowing what y'all know? If they feel like lying to everyone about their future, sure, but they're in a tough spot, so any trade needs a third team and then things get messy. Who wants to trade a bunch of picks /young guys and STILL not get Giannis? Might as well soldier on with this.

Even though I think there can be pathway to Brunson winning a chip as the frontman, the track record in this league speaks for itself so I'm not too mad at that opinion

And I can't personally see a scenario where Milwaukee still entertains trying to be competitive immediately after a Giannis trade.

It's the ppl in here who would say no to trading KAT for Giannis if all things were equal that be blowing minds.

Pacers ran all their actions at Brunson and/or KAT down the stretch of every game in the ECF. And Brunson obviously isn't going anywhere.

To be fair Thibs sucked at playoff adjustments but you are absolutely right. I think it’s really being ignored how much a weakness that was, but let’s see what happens in-season. Teams should be attacking them the same way and if they do and the issue is still there I think they move KAT. I definitely think they are going to move KAT to PF and that might make it possible to work.

Giannis is overrated. We see what happens to breh when teams pack the paint come playoffs time with him.

As much as yall are worried about KAT's health. Giannis is already 30. When his athleticism goes, his game is going to age HORRIBLY.

Not sure if I'll ever forgive Thibs for bringing Brunson back into game 1 in the 4th quarter. It was just completely unnecessary. We were in complete control and the line up was working on both ends of the floor

that loss was a kick to the nutz that we never recovered from. There was no need or rush to bring Brunson back in.

I still think Dolan felt the same way or that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
