And not for nothing, Knicks fans BEEN saying King number should’ve been retired. Don’t folks remember people being a bit put off when Randle got #30 when he first got here.

I'd have King and Melo in the rafters. I'm not as mad about Houston. He was a great Knick, but Melo and King were top-3 in MVP voting as Knicks in the best years.

Melo is my one of my favorite players of all time but the knick resume just isnt there.

Melo is better den Brunson overall but Brunson has already done more in less time. And no one expected shyt from him when we signed him

Houston was the best player on the 8th seed team that went to the finals lol His shot is more memorable than anything melo ever did. He also made the eastern conference finals as a knick.

Melo is better than him, but his knick resume is light. He helped get us out of hell for 3 years though lol

He’s really good at the job but will be interesting to see his perspective now since he will NEED to watch the Knicks day-to-day.

I’ve felt he talks about the Knicks the way most other national people do…unless he just wants to make headlines now that he’ll be on ESPN.

Besides, don’t reporters usually either cover the Knicks or the Nets? Guess this is different anyway since he’s not exactly a beat reporter in this case.

25 years? This shyt had a couple glory years in the 70’s and a decade of contention in the 90’s. Everything else is trash or mid.

There’s literally no need to be gate keeping like this

I’d retire Melo and King there’s some old timers like Sweetwater Clifton and Richie Guerin that should be up there too.
