I watched the Barkley interview just now...

Why did he say that he was too old by the time he got to Houston in 96' when he was only 32 years old, and he's said numerous times that the prime of a players career is usually between the ages of 28-32? At that time, Jordan, Malone, and Stockton were all about that same age and they were still playing at all-star level, how did his abilities diminish much earlier than theirs?

Injuries and Didn't keep himself in top shape. MJ, Malone, Stockton all kept themselves in good condition and were fortunate enough to stay healthy.
