1. The overall plot of the movie was bringing Janet Van Dyne back from and exploring the quantum realm because of it's importance in Avengers 4.
2. Ghost didn't need an origin film for the same reason why The Winter Soldier didn't need one.
Every movie doesn't need a clear cut villain bad vs. good arc.

Nah I said ghost origin should have been in the beginning instead of being dropped in the middle.
No one said anything about an origin film. Nothing was memorable about this flick, outside of Wasp styling on everyone and the insane picture quality.

Yeah, this might be the worst MCU movie. It's like a 4/10 at best. How they can make their powers boring is mindboggling.
yeah looking back at it this is my least favourite mcu movie
At this point if Ant-Man doesn't get a new director I won't see 3 in theaters

Yeah, can't decide between this and GotG Vol. 2 as the worst MCU movie. I like the humor more in this than GotG 2 so maybe that's still the worst but still both movies are mis steps.

I enjoyed this movie a lot and think it’s just as good as the first one. 
It was ok.
I would still rate it above Dark World and Ultron, which are the only MCU movies I just dislike after so many rewatches.
AatW is just very forgettable, wouldn't say it's really a bad movie like the other two.
